The Philanthropy Award is presented to alumnae chapters that have shown outstanding commitment to philanthropic and service endeavors at the local and national level. To post your items, you must be a member in good standing, and preferably a dues-paying member of an alumnae chapter! Posts will be limited to once a week at this time. We are not approving individual posts for company reps/consultants, real estate, etc., but we can put up a generic post, and everyone involved (Mary Kay, Pampered Chef, etc.) can put their contact info in the comments. If your items use any AXO trademark/copyright, your products must be Greek Licensed. Thank you for supporting our sisters during the holidays and beyond! NOVEMBER: A TEA PARTY to CELEBRATE OUR FOUNDER's : November 6th, 2021 at 11am to 1:30pm We are gathering in person (with all COVID CARE protections) at The Spring Tea Garden in Fullerton to joyously celebrate our sisters who founded AXO, Epsilon Kappa Collegiate Chapter and Delta Omega Delta North Orange County Alumnae Chapters! We are REAL STRONG WOMEN together forever! Join us for a scrumptious tea party, fun activities, and AXO guest speakers! Dress code is garden party dresses and AXO pin attire. Education Initiatives for DOD : We welcome Bronte to our leadership team as our Education Initiatives team leader! Bronte has a passion for learning and development (currently she is working on her Masters degree in Higher Education yay!) and is excited to take on the creation of our DOD chapter's learning journey. The first initiatives will focus on Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion endeavors in support of the work being done at AXO headquarters. To best identify our needs and wants, Bronte will be sending out a brief survey to calibrate awareness levels and learning desires of our membership. Please find the survey (Google doc) located on our My Chapter Room platform - click SURVEY tab. She has also sent out individual email invitations via MCR to make it easy to access and complete the survey. All responses will be protected for privacy (only Bronte and KQ have access) so please feel free to be as candid as possible. Our goal is to hear from every active member! :-)
AXO Day of Giving! April 7th 2021 is Day of Giving! Celebrate 1 day, 8 hours and 85 minutes to #AXOempower by joining our special Day of Giving Facebook group. During Day of Giving, we’ll celebrate our campaign theme, Empowered Women Empower Women, and help to sustain our sisterhood by supporting the Real. Strong. Women. Fund. Follow the fun (campaign Facebook page): https://www.facebook.com/groups/axoempower DOD TECHNOLOGY ASSISTANCE FUND: The alumnae sisters of AXO|Delta Omega Delta, of North Orange County California are raising funds to endow a needs-based AXO Foundation Scholarship Fund to help any regional AXO sisters with desperately needed technology resources – educational expenses including the cost of virtual education. This fund has the intention to both support sisters pursuing their careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) as well as any AXO alumnae or collegiate sister desiring to build and enhance her technology skills. As technology rapidly changes and skilled technology competencies are in demand, no sister should fall behind or be left without. Target Recipients: Any AXO sister in Orange County / Southern California: undergraduate, graduate, alumna at any stage in life. Specifications: Scholarship to be awarded annually. Awards to be determined by AXO Foundation. The goal is to award $1000 each year. The fund will be endowed when contributions reach $25K. Per AXO Foundation, we have 5 years to lock in funding for our scholarship to be endowed for life.
