Welcome Brontë Joseph as Delta Omega Delta's new President!
Happy New Year, Delta Omega Delta! For those I haven’t met in person, my name is Brontë Joseph (the two dots over the "e" are important!), and I am beyond excited to be Delta Omega Delta's chapter president. My Alpha Chi Omega journey began in the Gamma Chi chapter at Stetson University. I served proudly as Cultural Chair, promoted Alpha Chi through campus involvement, and was part of the collegiate Panhellenic community as a Rho Gamma (Recruitment Guide). After moving to the OC for the Disney College Program in Fall 2019, I found myself stuck (thanks, Covid) and turned to Facebook to find a community of sisters. Long story short, Kathy Quinn (KQ) took me under her wing, and I’ve been a proud Delta Omega Delta sister since Fall 2020. I’ve served on the executive board as VP Education and VP Communications, and I cannot wait to lead and grow alongside you as your Chapter President. Outside of Alpha Chi Omega, I work at Disneyland as a Guest Talent Assistant, so if you see me in the Parks, please say hi! Our chapter loves spending time together; we meet several times a year and events include Happy Hours, holiday parties, Founder's Day celebrations, and volunteering annually with Laura's House, the Surfrider Foundation, CSUF's Safe Program, and the OC Food Bank. We are so proud to share that in 2022, we won TWO "Seeking the Heights" Awards - Membership Engagement and Philanthropy - and we could not have won these awards without the amazing contributions of our sisterhood! One of my goals this term is to continue to authentically grow our chapter. Winning awards is always fantastic, and they are a great way to showcase where DOD finds its passion. These don't define us - you do! We need your help and support to continue our upward trend. Our open motto, "Together Let Us Seek the Heights", ensures that we serve our sisterhood in all that we do. I welcome each of you, whether renewing your membership or joining us for the first time - to find your niche, and your home and serve excellently. To those who are new chapter members, I hope you are filled with excitement for the 2024 year with Delta Omega Delta! To our returning sisters, that same excitement stands along with an unwavering thank you for your commitment to being a member. As we navigate this year, I cannot wait to see what we will accomplish!! Thank you again for being in the bond of Alpha Chi Omega and finding Delta Omega Delta.
